
West Bengal is a state situated in the eastern part of India and is known for its rich cultural heritage, historical significance, and diverse landscapes. West Bengal is located in the eastern region of India, bordered by the countries of Bangladesh, Bhutan, and Nepal, as well as the Indian states of Sikkim, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, and Assam.
The state encompasses a variety of landscapes, including the fertile Gangetic plains in the southern region, the Sundarbans delta (world’s largest mangrove forest) in the southern part along the Bay of Bengal, and hilly terrains in the northern areas.
