
Madhya Pradesh, often referred to as the “Heart of India,” is a central state in India, bordered by Uttar Pradesh to the northeast, Chhattisgarh to the southeast, Maharashtra to the south, Gujarat to the west, Rajasthan to the northwest, and the states of Bihar and Jharkhand to the northeast. The state features diverse landscapes including the Vindhya and Satpura mountain ranges, fertile plains, forests, and the Narmada and Tapti river valleys.
Madhya Pradesh has a rich historical heritage, having been inhabited since ancient times, with traces of the Indus Valley Civilization.
